Our second workshop focused on the classification and evaluation of waste as well as its differentiation and transformation. The network works on these interrelated topics conceptually and methodologically.

Together with our invited guest Prof. H. Corvellec (Lund University) we identified and discussed relevant theories, concepts and methods referring to waste management, waste prevention and systems of circularity. In particular, we were able to deepen the discussion about concrete visions and projects of circular economies during our visit to the port of Amsterdam in an exciting exchange with James Hallworth (Commercial Manager Circular and Renewable Industry) and Giulia Fiora (Data and Market Analyst). The resulting findings will be incorporated in the planned handbook and the online glossary.
